In a deep heavy bottom vessel heat ghee & oil. Once hot add the whole garam masala & let it splutter.
Add the onions & fry until light golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilles, white pepper,salt. Cook for few seconds.
Add the chicken pieces & cook again for few minutes. Add water , peas & lemon juice
Once the water starts boiling add the rice & coriander leaves. Cover & cook on medium heat until rice has soaked all the moisture . Cook for atleast 10-12 minutes on dum.
Serve hot with raita & salad
